The Enormous Egg by Oliver Butterworth ****

It all starts the day Nate Twitchell's hen laid an enormous egg. Now he's dying of curiousness to see what's inside the egg. When the egg does finally hatch, he's in for a big surprise. 
I like this book because of the imagination in it.
I recommend this book for ages 8+.

    PS - Loved the comment about the one hair on Mart's back - that was too funny Daniel. I actually thought it was your dad who left that - it was so sarcastic and all. :) I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, huh? :)
